Elizabeth Ann Forbes, 53, of Stewardson, IL, died at 8:40 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2011 in her residence.

In keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes, following cremation there will be no services. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Strasburg.

Elizabeth was born on April 20, 1958 in Cook County, Illinois, the daughter of Richard and Lorraine Ross Booker. She was a Certified Nurses Aid and worked at Shelbyville Manor for many years. She married Jefferson Forbes on December 11, 2009.

Surviving are her husband, Jefferson; sons, Richard Booker and wife Rachel of Strasburg, David Meagher of Stewardson, Mike Carlson of Mode and Brian Carlson of Altamont; daughters, Bridget Zahn and friend Angela Seitzinger of Lawrenceville and Joy Price and fiancé Andrew Gaines of Stewardson; father, Richard Booker of Strasburg; brother, Michael Dragon of Woodridge; sister, Debbie Anderson of Shorewood; and 11 grandchildren, Arianna, Stephanie and Kayla Zahn all of Strasburg, Christianna, Richard, Savannah and Collin Booker all of Strasburg, Lorraina, Jenna and Sarah Price all of Stewardson and Sara Seitzinger of Lawrenceville.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine; and sister, Josephine Carlson.
