Barbara S. Blickem

Barbara Sue Blickem, 83, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 6:05 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, in Shelbyville Manor, Shelbyville, IL.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.

Barbara was born on September 5, 1942, in Bone Gap, IL, the son of Noah James and Waunetta Marie (Correll) Nelson. She married Roger Leon “Butch” Blickem on August 22, 1986, and he preceded her in death on December 12, 2017. Barbara worked at International Paper in Shelbyville until her retirement.

Barbara is survived by her son, Eric Agney.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Butch.
