Diana G. Cole

Diana G. Cole, 61, of Tower Hill, IL, passed away at 4:18 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL.

A visitation for Diana will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home,415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Diana was born on March 17, 1964, in Taylorville, IL, the daughter of Jess and Shirley (Russell) Coultas. She graduated from Tower Hill High School in the Class of 1982. Diana worked for GSI in Assumption, IL for over 27 years. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her daughter and her grandsons. Diana married Kirby E. Cole on May 7, 1985.

She is survived by her husband, Kirby; daughter, Britney Cole (Paul Ainscough) of Taylorville, IL: grandsons, Braycen Cole and Parker Ainscough; father, Jess Coultas of Tower Hill, IL: brothers, Danny Coultas (Laveta) of Assumption, IL, Dennis Coultas (Deanna) of Tower Hill, IL, and David Coultas (Amy) of Tower Hill, IL; sisters, Dixie Rauch (Mike) of Herrick, IL, Donna Coultas of Pana, IL, and Debbie Coultas of Sherman, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Coultas on March 9, 2020; and niece, Kelly Pope.
