Donna J. Robinson

Donna June Robinson, 91, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 3:15 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Shelbyville Manor, Shelbyville, IL.

Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2026, at Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville, IL with Father Pawel Augustyniak as celebrant. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Saving Orphaned Animals or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Donna was born on June 21, 1935, in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of John Patrick and Edna Lorice (Perry) McBride. She married Billy Joe Robinson, and they were blessed with five children. Donna was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville, IL. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and caring for her cats. Donna was also an avid sports fan, following the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls. Her home was always a welcoming place for family, and she especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her children, Katherine Killam and husband Mike of Shelbyville, IL, Boge Drake and husband Michael of Westchester, IL, Teresa Shanks and husband Randy of Shelbyville, IL, Bill Robinson and wife Ronda of Shelbyville, IL, and Mark Robinson of Mattoon, IL; sister, Sharon Wade of Shelbyville, IL; eight grandchildren, Mike Killam (Katie), Zak Killam (Chelsea), Meghan Zielinski (Angelo), Nate Drake (Maxine), Brett Wakeland (Courtney), Kaitlyn Robinson, Karli Frain (Ryan), and Tice Robinson; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Johnny McBride (Jacqueline) and Murphy McBride (Anne); and brother-in-law, Rodney Wade.
