Gregory A. Walls

Gregory A. “Greg” Walls, 57, of Mason, IL, passed away at 3:25 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Belleville Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Howe & Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville, IL, with Pastor Steven Linton officiating. Visitation will be from noon until – 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 North Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565 in the name of Cheri Walls.

Greg was born on January 22, 1968, in Bryan, OH, the son of Terry Lee and Joanne (Florey) Walls. He graduated from Harvard High School in Edgerton, OH. Greg enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, hunting, country music, line dancing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, when he was home from his job driving a semi.

Greg is survived by his wife, Cheri; his children, Cecelia Walls of Effingham, IL, Calista Gordon of Beecher City, IL, Brant Houghton of Flora, IL, and Skyler Houghton of Watson, IL; eleven grandchildren; and his brother, John Walls of Holland, IL,

He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
