Katherine Isabel (Crouch) Claar, 73, of Shelbyville, IL, formerly of Windsor, IL, passed away at 11:49 a.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2025, in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.
Katherine’s life will be celebrated privately. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville, IL.
Katherine was born on July 1, 1952, in rural Windsor, IL. She graduated from Windsor High School and attended the University of Texas and the University of Illinois. Katherine married Richard Corbin “Corby” Claar and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.
