Larry B. Boehm, 67, of Westervelt, IL, passed away at 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Private family services will be held with burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Memorials may be given to Lake Shelbyville Strutters/JAKES Program and mailed to Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, 415 North Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.

Larry was born on November 7, 1958, in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Glen J. and Janet (Kelly) Boehm. He graduated from Findlay High School in the Class of 1976. Larry worked at Graphic Packaging in Shelbyville for 37 years, retiring as a lead operator. He married Sally A. Winings on November 26, 1996. Larry was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his family and cherished being a grandpa.

Larry is survived by his wife, Sally; sons, Jason Boehm (Randi) of Shelbyville, IL, and Zachary Boehm (Hailey) of Shelbyville, IL; step-children, Rebecca Wallis of Shelbyville, IL, Ben Edwards of Shelbyville, IL, Zachary Edwards (Quincy) of Shelbyville, IL, Kimberly Childress (Ryan) of Beecher City, IL, and Melanie Laue of Neoga, IL; four grandchildren, Tucker, Leyton, Dax and Lydia Boehm; twelve step-grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, Hannah, Summer, Raelynn, Devin, Sophia, Henry, Jeremy, Caitlyn, Tyler, and Xaden; six step-great grandchildren; brothers, David Boehm (Sandy) of Oreana, IL, Gerry Boehm (Teresa) of Shelbyville, IL, and Danny Boehm (Susan) of Shelbyville, IL: sisters, Carol Wharmby of Thousand Oaks, CA, Mary Perry (Gary) of Mattoon, IL, Janet Musser (Mike) of Westervelt, IL and Lisa Ballinger (Roger) of Windsor, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Boehm; and stepson, Jacob Edwards.
