Nova Lynn Griffith

Nova Lynn Griffith , infant daughter of Destiny Griffith was born into the arms of angels on September 6, 2024, at 9:42 a.m. in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL. Born at 29 weeks, she weighed l lb. 9 oz and was 14 inches long.

Although Nova never spent any time with us on earth, she was very loved and touched many lives. Our little angel will never be forgotten by her mom, Destiny Griffith; grandmother, Robin Hammond; grandfather, James “Bub” Griffith; great-grandmother, Diana Hammond; great-great-grandmother, Betty Ditzler; aunts, Cassi Cox, Caitlin Watson, Cailee Drone (Shane), Chandra Hammond, Jessica Griffith, and Jaxson Watson; uncles, Calvin Watson, Brad Cox, and Jacob Griffith; great-aunt, Chrissy Griffith; great-uncles, Steve Parrot (Heather) and Chad Hammond; cousins; and other extended family.

Nova was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather, Jesse Donald Hammond; paternal great-grandmother, Joyce Ann Griffith; paternal great-grandfather, Donald Ross Parrot; and great-aunt, Tiffani Griffith.

A private celebration of life will be held at a late date when a memorial garden will be planted in Nova’s honor.
