Ryder Joseph "RJ" Stock

Ryder Joseph “RJ” Stock, our greatest gift, was called home in his sleep, to be with Jesus early Thursday morning, November 6, 2025.

Anyone that knew our sweet boy saw him for his contagious laugh, smile and dimples. Ryder was born on September 14, 2023, in Breese, IL, the son of Faith and Ross Stock. Ryder loved hard and lived his life to the fullest every day. He had his greatest days spent riding a tractor with daddy and mommy. At the time, we thought it was just an ordinary day, now we would do anything to have those days back. He loved being outside tending to his sheep, cows and his bird dogs, especially his favorite one, Annie, who he played with and loved so much. Ryder was a quick learner, full of energy and was becoming quite the prankster. He loved spending time with his daddy, learning to work on things. He loved snuggling his mama during all times of the day and helping her any way he could around the house. Ryder brought so much joy into everyone’s lives. If you were having a bad day, you just had to look at him and his smile and receive one of his “huggies” and everything seemed to be a little brighter and better. We miss him so much, but we know he is up in heaven with past loved ones showing him around and farming in paradise now.

Ryder is survived by his loving parents, Faith (Williams) Stock and Ross Stock of Bingham, IL; maternal grandparents, Felechia and Bryan Williams of Bingham, IL; great grandmother, Sharon Williams of Bingham, IL; paternal grandparents, Alice and Phil Stock of St. Peter, IL; aunt, Molly (Adam) Braun of Vandalia; uncles, Alex (Lacy) Stock of St. Peter, Sam (Shayla) Stock of Vandalia, and uncle Waylon Williams of Bingham; cousins, Aiden Strobel and Atley Stock of St. Peter, Harrison, Helen and Emmet Braun of Vandalia, and Kru and Kaden Stock of Vandalia.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Bobby Williams, John and Gwen Caldwell, and Richard and Helen Stock.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 2876 N 425 St. Ramsey, IL 62080. Graveside services will follow the visitation in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Ramsey, IL. Casual attire is requested. Memorials in honor of Ryder can be made to the family to be used to honor some of his favorite things: Faith & Ross Stock, 74 E 2850 Ave, Bingham, IL 62011. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.
