Susan M. Stockman

Susan Marie Stockman, 72, of Arcola, IL, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at The Haven of Arcola, Arcola, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in the Lakeside Addition of Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL, with Father Pawel Augustyniak officiating. Family and friends are invited to meet at Howe and Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday before going in procession to the cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.

Susan was born on April 18, 1953, in Shelbyville, IL, the daughter of Dr. Charles A. and Marcella (Quatman) Stockman. In her younger years, Susan enjoyed playing the flute and piano. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1971. Susan was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching her favorite teams, the Chicago Cubs and the Fighting Illini, on TV.

Susan is survived by her sister, Patricia Ann Peek and husband Joe of Greensboro, NC; brother, Thomas Stockman of Shelbyville, IL; nephew, Jeff Peek; nieces, Kristin Peek (Bob Phillips), and Kelly Shay (Tobin); and two great nieces and one great nephew, Agnes, Eleanor, and Henry Shay.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
