Wallace “Scott” Robinson, 79, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday morning, December 1, 2025, in his residence.
Scott was born on July 1, 1946, in Oakland, CA, the son of Wallace Albert and Glenda Ellen (Middaugh) Robinson. He enjoyed growing up on the beach in Santa Cruz, CA, and in his younger years, played fast-pitch and slow-pitch softball. Scott worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Sonoma County, California. He married Marie E. Colby on March 5, 1984. Scott and Marie moved to Shelbyville, IL, in 2002, where Scott owned and operated Corner Copy Print Shop in downtown Shelbyville for over 20 years, retiring in 2025. In his spare time, Scott enjoyed woodworking and refinishing furniture.
Scott is survived by his wife, Marie; five children, eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a sister.
He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother; mother; grandson, Jeremy Starwalt; and brother, Robert Robinson.
The family will hold a celebration of Scott’s life at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Jeremy Starwalt Scholarship Fund and mailed to Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, 415 North Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.
