Wanda L Harding

Wanda Lee Harding, 66, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 1:25 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in her residence.

A public celebration of Wanda’s life is being held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Shelbyville VFW Post #4829. A private family burial will take place in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. Wanda was born on June 20, 1960, in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of Donald Edward and Hazel Ilene (Clutter) Binnion. She attended Shelbyville High School in the Class of 1978. Wanda worked in home health care for many years. She loved being outside and enjoyed fishing, turkey hunting, and mushroom hunting. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. To know Wanda was to be loved by Wanda.

She is survived by her son, Michael Allen Harding of Shelbyville, IL; grandson, Kody Harding of Pennsylvania; former husband, Randy Harding of Missouri; sisters, Sherry Prather, Merle Dunne (Patrick) and Rose Garza (Jaime) all of Shelbyville, IL, Anna Connelly (Ralph) of Mattoon, IL, Anita Marcum (Keith) of Milford, IL, and Cassandra Bloxom of Strasburg, IL; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nephews. Wanda was deeply loved by all of her nieces and nephews as they each shared a deep bond with her. After all she was the “Favorite Aunt” 🦋

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Hazel Binnion; son, Daniel Edward Harding; and grandson, Daniel Jacob Harding.
