Warren L. Jordan

Warren L. Jordan, 76, of Pana, IL, passed away on Saturday evening, April 26, 2025, in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at United in Faith Church, Pana, IL, with Rev. Leon Goff officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pana, IL. Memorials may be given to Mound Cemetery or United in Faith Church. Arrangements are by Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL.

Warren was born on April 15, 1949, in Pana Twp., the son of James Herbert “Herb” and Helen Frances (Protsman) Jordan. Warren married Sheila (Ade) Patrick on January 31, 2015. He graduated in the Class of 1967 from Assumption High School. He was a lifelong farmer, retiring in 2019. Following his retirement, Warren “supervised” the farming operation from his truck. Warren was a member of United in Faith Church and Pana Eagles Aerie #4109 both in Pana. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, watching Gunsmoke, and spending time with his family.

Warren is survived by his wife, Sheila; children, Marla Berner (Mike) of Pana, IL, Shari Novitski (Dave) of Mahomet, IL and Butch Niehart (Barb) of Pana, IL, sister-in-law, Jean Jordan of Assumption, IL; four grandchildren, Craig Berner (Sara), Matthew Berner (Kayla), Tony O’Rear, and Chaney Niehart; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Lyle Jordan, Dale “Shorty” Jordan (Elnora), Ralph Jordan, and Robert Jordan (Joan).
